Pinpoint alphas need to be addressed now.

I'm glad that we've got brainstorming and coffee klatches over at PGI, but the problem has been here for long enough. When you're finished agreeing to consult a focus group to begin preliminary discussions on the viability of the potentiality for the possibility of one day beginning to ponder the metaphysical reality of a plethora of methods for...

actually

addressing

the

problem

would you kindly let us know? You have so many people here on this forum tearing their hair out trying to devise the One Simple Solution and so many ideas to pick from. Throw something together, test it on a test server and

address

the

problem.

Thanks.

pretty much summarizes the vocal minority's impatience and frustration with the gameplay balance. the silent majority however loves it....ignorance is bliss down in trial hell.

This is exactly the point of my post. The problem is obvious, the solution less so, but all this is a promise to do a whole lot of nothing, in an indeterminate amount of time.

Honestly, if these guys (PGI) spend days on end dropping in pug/premade matches, they would be able to identify the problems. It seems that they don't do enough of it.

From what I read about Paul's CC, it seems someone is finally doing some homework. After all this time (6+ months) of terrible weapon balance, we are finally addressed over the weapon balance issues. Now, I'm not getting my hopes up (given PGI's reputation of empty promises), but if they are serious about rolling in weapon balance updates "agressively", then that might just tempt many of us to call the masses back to this game.
