I so look forward to this game. The developers who can laugh at the average forum dweller? Oh please oh please oh please PLEASE do not lose that edge. Nothing offends me more than watching a community devolve into whinging and crying over every little perceived slight and offense that is then used as justification to demand they be given everything for free, forever.

I for one have been really happy to see the developers be willing to interact with the community in a way that is consistent with my experience of the kind of sense of humour that can go with a game like this.

if your so thinned-skinned that a Dev(and Paul no less) naming a mech variant "FORUMUSERKILLER" offends you, you just need to shut down your computer, sell it, and stay off the internet. Seriously, it'll get alot worse than that once everyone has access to the game.

Watching the video while Paul was naming his mech, he didn't sound like he was being hostile or with any malice. 99% sure he was joking around. Call it a form of trolling<in a good way> so we have something to talk about while waiting. They realize everyone is anxious to play and want to make it a fun atmosphere.

It's amusing and just a joke. It says nothing about how many or what forum users he is killing in the game lol

I very much doubt he has issues with forum users or put so much thought into it as we are sitting doing right here right now like a bunch of a losers. Sorry if you find that offense but I do include myself in the comment.
