The new Atlas pilots are the poor champion trial mechs... pop that guass and blow off the torso and then sit under 180m and the poor thing is useless. Be interesting to see if the public actually pick it up once it can be bought... personally all you need to do is replace the guass with an ac20, drop the engine to a 300 and put on 2-3 ton more ammo. Instant improvement on firepower, survivability and longevity.
