My website was down, so the update checker failed, causing this issue.
The site is now back up

A heads up that the latest patch made double tap recognized in weapon groups set to chainfire, so now you can use a single weapon group to macro a bunch of ultras.

i was playing around with this today and what is happening to me is the firing works just fine but when I let go of the fire button, the current selected weapon is removed from the fire group.

Hi,

I have a quick question for anybody who knows Fire Control. I'm trying to set it up to toggle TAG on and off as weapon group 3.

At the Fire Control website, under Usage Instructions, it clearly states in "Before You Start", that the 1-6 keys on the number strip above the letters must be bound to fire weapon groups 1 to 6. My problem is, I use the number keys for Consumables and would like to keep it that way.

Does anybody know of a workaround?

I only can say how I've done mine.

1. Decide what group you would use as TAG.
2. Set any key (wether it's keyboard or mouse you like to this group in the game's keyboard setup menu.
2.1. Set sole TAG for this group in weapon groups setup for chosen mech(s).
3. Bind this key to "Weapon toggle" in Fire Control.
4. If fire control program is enabled when you press the button designated for this group the magic starts to happen.

Works with TAG and any other weapon set to this group. TAG "fires" permanently and MGs (and also flamers but I strongly don't advise to use them such way (easy way to ocassionly overheat yourself to death)). Any other weapon fires as soon it's ready for the next shot.

Probably it was already answered. Ist this script legal?
I have a Dragon with 3xUAC2 and i'm tired hammering my mouse button down. Therefore i looked for a script like that.
Thanks for a short answer

As long as you are attentive at the keyboard, yes. Or else this thread would have been locked a long time ago.

As usual, thanks a lot for your great software! Makes it a whole lot less annoying to use UACs.

When I hold L-Shift, the fire macro (whatever is set, in ms) no longer works at all. I am wondering how I can disable this? I am aware I can simply change the key I am using for L-Shift to something else, however ideally, I would like to keep using (and holding) L-Shift.

Thank you. Very nice AHK use.

EDIT: Even CTRL and ALT do not work. Holding any of these keys stops the machine-gun part of this AHK. Enabling wild mode just makes it so Shift/CTRL/ALT are no longer counted as being held down while firing.

EDIT: Got it. Had to bind Shift+RMB (fire key) instead of just having the fire key.
