The rest of the guts are decent, HD7770, 8GB 12800 RAM etc

I was previously running a GTX460 SE and it got me 30-45 FPS so the HD 7770 isn't that bad for an entry computer.

Yeah but you can do much much better with $600. Go micro ATX, get an fx6300, get 2 sticks of 4 GB RAM, buy a cheaper case, and then devote the savings to your GPU.
