Well, it is kind of relevant at this point then. I want to get a Phoenix package (Shadowhawk atleast for Early Bird, maybe more later), but that is a very large little hole for the devs to hide in when people ask why the game isn't better in a few months if they decided it was just marketing. But then, even if it does just go to marketing, that would, in the long term, bring in more revenue.
So I guess since I've seen some pretty level headed responses here, I'll ask you guys. Is the Phoenix package worth it at this point? Monster Hunter 3D is looking pretty tempting for the same cost...and **** the locust.

No. It was never worth it at any point.
And honestly, the only real metric that will impact PGI's game design decisions at this point is $$$.
As long as people keep paying these ridiculous prices for this POS game, nothing will change.
