With regards towards the time - when the forum had hardly left Alpha statuts - i remember there was a rough discussion (not because of language but of arguments) about pin point or no pin point accuracy.
I think some 50% plus a major part of new players were comfortable with the decission to avoid any RnG /Cone mechanism.
I think they were comfortable because you said skill over random, too.

But from that very beginning - you worked allready at a RnG ore Cone mechanism... but the audience wasn't ready for that change... so you gave us Gauss Cats and PPC boats. JumpSniper and more PPC boats... until the realisation shifted towards - pin point = bad.
I think the communitiy has allready accepted that fact - but a small minority - so most of us ar begging for alternatives, for solutions - it doesn't matter what have to happen as long it will happen.

As you see the audience is ready know - I think you can activate this new feature - we will like you - and buy more MC to worship you

You guys don't want to fix the convergence didn't you?

You have the Reflect Armor and the Blue Shield Particle Damper Field ready for deployment. No need to argue about the PPC when a single shot doese only 2.5dmg... lot of effects but no gain.... that is what you want to bring right?

jep sorry for the bad language...

i duno if I'm talking about cone of fire - or forcing chain fire - or fixed convergence for weapons - similar to WW2 fighter planes... but what I know is, that pin point weapons will ever be the bane of this game - doesn't matter if you are able to kill those PPC boats... or even dual AC 20 boats - there are Mechs in BattleTech that will break the rules you made to curtail current PPC meta.

my second post - is directing at experimental technology - the Blue Shield PDF is an equipment that reduces the damage of PPC by half... in combination with reflective armor you can reduce the remaining damage by 50% too.

Would be great or? Exactly the same mechanism that is the counter for ECM - multiple hard counters but never touch the broken device.
