Just wondering, what is the concept for "Champion" Mech variants? How are they decided, and will there eventually be a "Champion" variant for each Mech?

What Are "champion" Mechs?

Well we know they earn 10% extra cbill and 5% extra exp, but don't know how they're selected. Maybe based on how underused the paticular variant is?

When did they get a C-bill bonus? I`ve only seen them with an XP bonus 0.o

The bonus is strictly only a 10% bonus to XP.

Yeah unless it got changed VERY recently its only +10% Xp, effectively making them craptacular.

They are a way for PGI to make money off the community.
They are also suppose to be based on submissions made by the community for good loadouts so you not far off thinking they are battle proven loadouts. However, I would caution you that I have found that the "best" builds the community are often not the best in reality.
That being said, there is no reason to buy a Champion mech.
