Got the $80 package with everything. Out of curiosity, when does the premium time afforded with that become available to use?

FYI, new forums still suck. I had no idea where else to post this topic.

Your 30 day "early bird" time will be available after the next downtime to put in/remove a sale, or run server maintenance. The 90 days of the Overlord will be available Oct. 15th.

My guess is because they wanted to, had the money, and didn't feel the need to ask permission.

This. I actually do see the value of that package. It's an excellent value. Also, although I may be very critical of the things this game is doing right now, and some of the really stupid balance issues, I still have faith that, in the end, it will come together.

By the way, when you purchase the package and receive the premium time on the next downtime, it doesn't automatically apply it. A new button appears next to the "add time" button which says "activate time" or something like that. So if you plan on buying the package but not on playing heavily this month you can still benefit from it by activating it later.

As stated in ngng #79 they put legal time and money into this one not to mention a little risk if it gets tested (original art is still someone elses property), if we ever want to see a hope of the HG reseen (and it's still only a slim one) or other 'big risk' fan projects we need to get behind this one.

Besides they'll take away the fanboi liscense rose tinted glasses you got when you picked up the Founders package if you don't also get the Phoenix package.

I am trying to scrape up the cash for that one. 12 Mechs and 12 Mech bays. That's a lot more than 80 bucks if you buy with MC later.

I'm unhappy with just a couple aspects of the game (look at my post history if you're curious which ones...) - BUT, I'm really happy with almost all other aspects of the game, and my rule of thumb is if I would rather spend hours playing this than watching a $10 movie, paying less than $1 per day is still a pretty damn good deal...
