My take on a MWOified CTF -
How about a gamemode where you have to deliver cargo from one point to another.
The cargo can just be an box with whatever fluff they want to put in.
The cargo is in a form where mechs with hands will only be able to pick it up (making hand actuators actually useful) or if not, able to be towed behind any mech at reduced speed.
If carried that mech can't use that arm for firing obviously.
The cargo is virtually indestructible or have so much armor as to make it not worthwhile to shoot at.
Teams can drag/carry the cargo to its destination with mechs able to drop/pickup the cargo.
Not sure whether it should be one team start off as the carriers and the other as interceptors ir if the cargo should be at a neutral location and both teams attempt to get it.
I'm more in favour of one team starting with the cargo as it will allow for a more planned tactical approach rather than just a rush for the cargo at the start.
Thoughts?
