I have purchased this thing, and unless I am missing something it seems to do the same thing as the seismic sensor, except that it can't see through walls, it also costs the same.
Can you guys take a look at this module and make sure it is priced appropriately, or not broken?
If it would allow me to maintain missile lock when an opponent is behind me that would be good, but it doesnt seem to do that.

It allows you to continue to target the enemy while they are out of LoS.
It is not broken, and does not allow you to keep missile locks any longer than normal.

Indeed.
It's still quite good, too, because in allowing you to maintain targeting, it allows you to continue seeing it's damage status. In a brawl, where other people are firing at your target, this allows you to make better snap decisions on where to focus your fire.
Furthermore, this sensor in allowing you to maintain targeting allows friendly LRM boats using indirect fire to continue raining steel on him. Otherwise, when you lose your target lock they lose their target lock - and as such their missile lock.
360 targeting is a very good module.
