Unless you are one of the conspiracy theory members on this board who don't understand marketing the answer is no, there is no question you can answer wrong.
That being said for your computer specs it is quite likely that they are trying to mix up various degrees of computers. Most betas use a pretty random mix of high tier, low tier and medium tier systems so it's not like there is a way you can "weight" your profile.
Anyone that tells you their is a way is just speculating.

I believe this is absolutely correct, I've made this point in a couple of other threads. Only difference being that it believe it isn't only limited to hardware specs, they also want people from various places, of various experiences, all those questions they put in the beta application, I'm sure they were all there for a reason. The thing to remember, getting into the beta isn't a competition, and realize that they are using you as free labor, when doing the beta, you are performing a service, and helping them develop and perfect the game. Okay so you also get to have tons of fun at the same time, but they are still using you! Just keep that in mind.

Unlike Friends and Family the current phase of closed beta is randomly picked by criteria that PGI has decided apon. It is presumed that this criteria changes over time. You can have 3000 posts or none, everyone has the same chance of getting in right now.
Cheers.
