So My Mech Has A Hand Actuator

Hand Actuator = Hand.
Why can't my Victor just grab a commando or spider by the head and shoot them with my other arm based weapon? I mean why else have a hand if we can't grab anything?

Because that would mean another question of why an Atlas can't just stomp a commando to death, or do the same?

Good question, why don't we have a grab command?

id rather they just take the damn unless actuators out and let us get back those criticals

and how long we haven't had collisions ? hell even if the trees would part or break when we walk through them...

Physical mech combat is, to my knowledge, far, far, far into the distant future. In the mean time we get to "enjoy" that some mechs have less available critical slots than others. *sigh*
