At The moment there are too many clicks required to do actions in the social tab. Also, I think you only need two tabs instead of the current four. The currently selected tab should be highlighted to make it easier to see where you are.
FRIENDS
This section controls your friends and blocked people. When you click on the "Friends" tab, there are two buttons - "Friends" and "Blocked". By default it should be on "Friends".
You should be able to add a friend to a group by clicking on their name (in the same menu as "Block" and "Remove"). If the friend accepts, a group is automatically created.
GROUP
You only need one tab for both "Invites" and "Group". If you are in a group, it shows the current members in this tab. If you have an invite to a group, it also appears in this tab. If you have a pending invite a sound should play and the "Social" button should continue to flash and change colour to become more clear (perhaps red so that it stands out).
It is not necessary to have the "Successfully created group" box after creating a group. You only need be notified if the group fails to create.
You should not have to create a group before inviting people. Instead a group should be automatically created when someone accepts an invite. The tab can be divided into two sections - "Lance A" and "Lance B". The first three people who accept your invite should go in a "Lance A" section of the screen. If more than 5 people are in the group, white dialogue should be displayed next to the invites that says, "You must fill both lances if you wish to play with more than 4 people", and then it should display how many people are currently in the group in bold red, e.g. 5/8.
Once you have sent an invite, the player you invited should appear in the list with a "waiting to accept" icon next to their name, and their name should be in yellow (to change to green once the invite is accepted).
If you are the last person in a group, the group should be automatically disbanded.
You should be able to "Promote to leader" another member of the group.
LAUNCHING
You should be able to launch a game even if you are not "Ready". If all of the other members are in the "Ready" state, it should be implied by clicking the "Launch" button that the leader is also ready. You should also be able to launch without having the "Group" tab open.
