Nothing special, but I have been tearing it up in this build lately.

Tooling around with one of Pooty's original ideas, I dropped the engine rating slightly, added 2 DHS, moved some ammo around, dropped one of the CASEs, and up-armored the legs. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b6d4d2a5ba196ce

My ac20 setup has 1.33 heat efficiency so with a gauss and 2 more HS that is going to be a bit too cold for me actually haha. I went with ac20 3 srm6s 2 med lasers std 360 and i can do some insane damage with some sweet speed

There is no such thing as an Atlas with "sweet speed".

I'm not sure on the specifics of my D-DC build at the moment as I don't have MWO right now, but I do have...

AC/20 x1
SRM6 + Artemis x3

Ditched the MLas most people seem to suggest in favor of Artemis, and I believe it goes 61kph with speedtweak. Heat efficiency seems a tad bit too high though, 1.63 or so in the mechlab, so I might just ditch a few 'sinks for those MLas soon, depends on how long I can sustain DPS.

You definitely need to check, because you can't fit 2 AC20s on an Atlas. It might have 2 ballistic hard points in that right torso, but it only has 12 crits, and an AC20 sucks up 10 of them.

Also, for those who might be curious, I run my D-DC as an all'rounder with 350 STD engine, 18 DHS, 3 Streak launchers, 2 ERLLs, and an AC10. It can fight at any range, defend itself from lights, and isn't as abysmally slow as other Atlas builds. It pays for that by having less raw firepower than most Atlas builds, but I think it's a good tradeoff.

That is one tricky build. I built a D-DC with your loadout to see how it looks. What's your heat efficiecy? I could only manage 1.10. and was only able to get 1 DHS, not 18.

My D-DC has 1 ERPPC, 1 AC20, 1 SRM4, 2 SSRM, STD 320, and 14 DHS. Heat efficiecy is 1.43. I group the AC20 and SRM4 together for that extra punch.

The heat on mine can be a pain, you have to watch it very carefully if an enemy gets in close, you can't just go nuts, you need to pick your shots and mother your heat burden.

EDIT: After they instituted ECM hardpoints I shunted a heat sink from the left torso into the left arm and moved the ECM to the appropriate place.
