The inverse is also good, to reduce the mobility of a scout, one must leg it so that said person can destroy the nimble scout. It is pretty challenging compared to hitting a heavier mech ofc (im talking in terms of accuracy)...

legging is a tactic might be less then honorable to some people but its do able not going to be as easy as a lot of folks think even with TC's a lot of IS tech is not as accurate as Clan tech and as of yet the clan invade is not for a few years yet. So we will be using IS equipment... i am not saying legging another mech is going to be imposable just more difficult.

If every battle isn't a 'Must kill every opposing mech to win' battle, legging can be very effective in keeping that last enemy Assault mech out of the picture.
