I'd suggest swapping out the Gauss Rifle and PPC for a pair of 7 ton energy weapons (LPLs, PPCs, or ER PPCs) and close to max armour. I've had some success with a 6 MG, 2 ER PPC build with a standard 275 engine.
The benefit of the HexaMG build is that you have the weight left over to run a big standard engine, allowing you to close on bigger mechs so you can use the MGs. I've also found one ton on MG ammo per two MGs is plenty, so three tons of MG ammo should be more than enough.
In my HexaMG build I've had multiple games where I was still alive even though every single weapon had been blown off of me (though I'd usually only be alive for a couple seconds after that).

No problem. Just note though that the LPLs max optimal range is only 300, so on maps like Tourmaline or Alpine you're at a severe disadvantage until you close the gap. Since you're using Ferrous and Endo you don't have enough slots left for a PPC, but if you find you're being hit too much before you can do damage to your opponents you can swap the LPLs for ER Large Lasers and run a few tons light.

Not what you're looking for but I've had some good matches with this one.
With speed tweak its works. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...254ad339afe0572
2 AC10s, 4 MG's, 2 mL, 6t AC10 ammo.
Torso twist as much as possible and you'll often be the last mech alive.

I pretty much run the same build. It works pretty well. I just cannot see putting 2 ACs in each arm. I found it really limits the ammo you can carry. Especially if you use two different types of ACs.
