I have been working on finding some good loadouts for my founders not that I have mastered pretty much every mech I like. Need to make some bank.


First I tried with my 2ERLL/2(A)LRM15 Catapult. Not bad. Good damage, long range, it will be a beast when 12 man's are introduced and actual battle lines start forming. I still play it, I like it a lot.....


But then I found my new love. Or my old love I guess. I have not played my founders Atlas for a long time. I tried an old short range standby loadout. 4ml, Ac20, 2x(A)SRM6.

I had tried some non Jagger brawlers pre patch and they were...meh. Not because SRM's were meh, but because the 3/4 PPC boats were so good, few people took brawlers, and because fast medium brawlers were terrible (that WAS due to PPc's)


But after the patch, with more short range fatties, AND more the advent of short range mediums, this thing is a BEAST. It soaks up a TON of damage, can support the mediums really well, and ton for ton can beat any LR mech in the game once it gets to range.



If you are a founder, I highly suggest you try it out.

but how often do you run it now aq days. The fact that it is working for me, when a month ago it wasn't 9actually it was the D-DC with 3 SRMs) says a lot about the current meta.

I didn't buy into the founders packs that included mechs because I knew that much better mechs for cash would be along shortly after launch.
