Here is something to think about...

The test server is ideal for the idea I have... and I'm sure it would take some effort to make a reality.

Since there is only 2 hours spent on the server and there has been a bit of PGI/IGP involvement on it... I think there should be a special console/interface that PGI/IGP members should have access to that would allow them to pick random players during the match and "invite" them to participate in a special questionnaire about the game. Ideally, they should be picking players from all levels of play (the interface would show every player's ELO, making the decision easier) and perhaps getting consent from them during the match and/or picking people that they feel would help improve the game.

In this way, you can get feedback from a variety of people that participate in the public test server and be able to improve the game, whether it be balance related or otherwise... instead of being thoroughly roasted through the coals through the boards and other forms of media.

The test server is an optimal platform for this (albeit limited) because putting it in the general play area would be... a risky proposition for various reasons. I hope this idea is strongly considered in future iterations of the test server. The community would be better off for this.
