pay for map packs than hero mechs, or mech bays, or premium time, at this point.

this game needs more maps. i seriously don't see how we can have clan warfare over worlds and solar systems when we've got so few maps. It's like we would have to "pretend" we are on World X even though it's just river city. then we go to fight on World Y and guess what, it's really just river city. sure the consequences are greater for victory or loss but big deal, it's just river city.

i've been suggesting since my very first post that this game needs more maps. the price of a hero mech? ridiculous to me. I love the centurions; people say, "Man you should get a Yenlo" and I think, "Why? so I can play it on Caustic or River City Night?" meh, not worth the value unless there were a s#*t ton of maps to play it on!

however, if a map pack cost about what a hero mech cost, i'd buy it, fosho!! then i'd get to play all the other variants i've mastered on the new maps, how exciting is that? you could even make it so each solar system costs X MC and comes with a few maps. works for DDO... (i wont even mention how helpful the community could be in the creation of maps, oh snap i just did...)

these games die when people are bored of the maps. we need like... 5, fast.

there are plenty of mechs to master, plenty of hero mechs. we got the overlord package, which i got, and that's a lot of mechs for us to mess with (not to mention there are a lot of mech variants anyways). and i've got 40 mechbays, mastered more than that, and spent plenty on premium time, just in case that gives my argument a little more cred.

i can't believe all the cockpit stuff that keeps coming out :D, i suppose there must be some kind of demand for it? for it to take precedence over the creation of maps? it all seems silly, absurd and leads me to believe there's not much more down the road for MWO than more mechs and cockpit junk, more camos that are over priced and pointless as well since you can't even watch a recorded battle with free camera or pick the camos to match map terrains, which is the point of most camos, to blend in...
