In light of the new policy of PGI's to implement temporary solutions ( buff srm's to 2 for a time till testing is done ) could the AZM module be for a time turned in to a full screen zoom that replaces the x3 zoom with a x4?
I would also like to ask, is it really not as simple as changing a single number in there somewhere so that when equipped it turns a 3 to a 4?

I have not seen or been using it for a long time and as the picture in picture still seem to have engine problems I think this would make it a viable module long range mechs would like to take. ( I would)

This suggestion has been made several times before by a number of people but as repeated mentions of a specific topic indicates a great interest in the mater , here it is again B) .

It was said some time ago that it's not possible to mess around with the adv. zoom because of a limitation of the Cry Engine. However, the staff also mentioned that they are looking into improving it. It's been some time since that statement though.

@Edson Drake

Most of those statements were about improving the pixelization of the picture in picture, a simple multiplier from x3 to x4 should be possible.

until they fix the box they should just make it a full screen zoom. we had a bigger fullscreen before, unclear why that is on hold right now.
