The good:

Holy moly is it fun as hell. Good lord we needed this months ago. It is an utter blast playing 12 on 12.

The bad:

It was originally said we would have options of making 4-mans, 8-mans, or 12 mans. In the event of 4-mans and 8-mans, the remainder 8 or 4 mechs would be made up with pugs. There is no option to make an 8 man group in the test server. Result is another promise broken. Sad really.

Overall, TONS OF FUN.

Lrms got a heap more targets,
it was harder (but not impossible) to pull out the sneak around and cap out,
you got punished a LOT more severely for positioning mistakes.
matches certainly seemed to last longer, even in the well overcrowded maps

All in all it was fun!!

I think we are getting any number of players in a group beyond 4 players soon. like 5 mans and 6 mans but they still have to tune the matchmaker to make it balanced.
