3-4. Probably 3.

Now that they have the same group firing limit as PPC's, there's even less reason to use them.

yeah sure because being 50%more efficient on heat isn't worth it?!?!

Right...

Now, try these 2 builds after this patch goes live:

The classical poptart

My favorite build

See which one is more heat efficient for me, alright?

I love how I could multi-pick my options in said poll.

i like the 30 dmg or so limit pgi started tis idea with, and it seems, (and probably rightly so) they fear multi llas/ballistic combo's once/if the ppc star falls.

read to sig link to see my idea that would allow 3 Llas (and ppc's!!) while still keeping within pgi's attempted dmg limitations before penalty and be less convoluted on how to figure out what you can group.

I'm still going to use them where I can fit them to brawl with. Just because people want to fire all 100 of their Large Lasers at once to AlphaWarrior Online so they get the easy kill with only means that making them staggered every 0.5s, mechs will not take all the damage at once and make the combat last a little longer.

I'd shoot the Gauss + Other Arm Large Laser as group 1, and the two Torso Large Lasers as group 2. What do you think? Does it work?

LL required us to keep a steady hand in order to focus damage, and their range is much more limited than PPCs and certainly ERPPCs. They also require us to expose ourselves for a longer period of time to return fire as well.

I'm not saying that we should be able to boat 6 of them as we used to, and 5 is still probably kind of ridiculous, but PGI has slated LL for a heat penalty as if they're as potentially abusable as PPCs, and this is simply not the case. I see no reason we shouldn't be able to roll 4 LL as part of our build.

Not really. The gauss needs to be targeted separately, unless the target is running straight at you or is sitting still. Of course chain fire is always an option, but that build heavily relies on torso rolling for defense. Adding chain fire will make it quite a bit worse at that.

So, I'll be going with the PPC's, they're more effective anyways.

i'd keep that as group 1, with 2-3 being left /right symmetrical. less getting caught on terrain if you lose jj'ing ability
