The settings may have deleted.. but you can fix that via your profile settings.

Seems like a while back my notification settings were changed by the forum software, and I'd guess I am not the only one. If you click the notifications tab, one of the things that pops up is 'options' and you can recheck the relevant settings there.

I get the red notification icon but I get a "Driver Error" page that says

There appears to be an error with the database.

and I can't read the notifications.

I've got the same problem. I've tried opening the notifications with the notification button next to the search box, as well as going through my profile page. It's been like this for at least the last 12 hours now.

Can't open notifications, too. I click on the icon next to the searchbox, the loading gif animation comes up and stays like that forever.

Chiming in to say that I am also getting notification problems again. I am not being notified when my posts are quoted, liked, etc, even though I can see that they are; I would check the notification settings, but that page doesn't load for me. Clicking the icon that normally displays new notifications just brings up the endlessly spinning gif circle.

Yeah my number of likes is going up but my notifications are stuck on 2 : /

Also the website lags out when I hit "Post". I have to reload the page to see any changes.

I'm also having this problem. My notifications have been stuck on 1 and when I go to look at messages I get a database error.
