if the OP is considering a desktop

you could see this link

http://mwomercs.com/...and-test-drive/

our fellow mechwarrior testing the A10-6800k with MWO and yes you can play MWO at 25 fps in med settings with that build

but mind you with that measly budget of your can't even get half of the parts

below is the parts he was given to use, well close except the RAM as they use AMD Radeon brand rams

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1gNZr

you will need to set at least 700+ bucks for this build

any lower you won't enjoy your gameplay

this is all the advise we can give you, it is up to you if you want to listen to it or not

You have been warned

All I care about is getting 24 fps.

24fps is a very specific and unusual number, is there a reason for it? Also you haven't said at what resolution you want run at: 24fps @ 1024x786 and 24fps @ 2560x1440 are worlds apart.

Television? 24fps? Motion-Pictures? Anyone!?(yeah the old ones, with that fat thing behind the screen) :)

24fps = moving pictures (at least thats what the human brain makes off it).

All he cares about is, that it's playable... so i guess the resolution is not impartant.

Playing modern FPS Games on Laptops is extremely cost-ineffective

I got to play MWO on an I7 Laptop with an NVIDIA K5000M Chip, ok it gets me 50FPS FullHD/Max Details BUT if you dont wanna spend 8000 $ on a Laptop forget it! I would not do that.

Buy a desktop and a mid-range NVIDIA/ATI Card (300$) and you are fine.

That being said, the only A10 powered laptop I found close to your price range was this http://www.newegg.co...N82E16834257047

That is fantastic. Exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

well it may run the game on low setting at 720p

but the issue will arise when the game move to DX11 which need more power from the GPU

in the end you will need another computer just to cont playing...

If no, is there an alternative within the same price range (300 to 400 dollars USD or cheaper) that can?

I am looking at laptops because they are more convenient than a desktop. Again, I do not care about top-of-the-line ability or the ability to crack it open and muck up the insides. Because of my situation, those are, in fact, negative qualities.

Convience comes with a price.

If you have spareparts you can use a desktop is your best bet.

sorry that CPU is weak to begin with

You need at least a i3 desktop CPU if not a i5 mobile CPU
