Firing more weapons than Max Alpha makes heat generation grow exponentially. For example, from the table above, if you fire 2 PPCs, you will receive no heat penalty. Fire 3 and there will be a noticeable heat increase. Fire 4, it starts to get significant. Beyond that, you’re playing with fire.

I feel like 3x Large Lasers should be okay to be fired at once without incuring a penalty. If 6 Mediums can go at once without penalty, I don't see why 3 Large should not.

Also, I feel like certain Variants should have Special Penalty Modifiers - I.E. Certain AWSOME Chassis Variants are Designed for PPC. I believe that particular Variants should have special Max Alpha Heat Generation consideration (IE 3x PPC instead of 2x). I understand needing to control high alpha builds by scaling incurring heat penalties but be carefult to not take away the raison d'etre for certain mech chassis variants (most notiably the AWS).

I'd vote for the option of not going with this crazy heat system to begin with and instead fix the core Heat System to work properly.
