Hey everyone,

Long, long time Battletech / Mechwarrior / Mechcommander player, I've been building a series of soundboard apps across a variety of platforms - basically the soundboards I want, done the way I want - that maybe others would like.

The latest one I've built is Mech In My Pocket (I've gotten back into the cockpit thanks to MWO) - and it's available now for Android on Google Play store. It's been submitted for inclusion in the Amazon store, as well as on Windows Phone and iOS.

The full version features over 150 clips from Mechwarrior 2, Mechwarrior 3 and Mech Commander (basically the ones I liked, never got on with MW4 or MC2) - you can search by keyword, mark your favourites and save as ringtone / notification (MP3 on iOS).

Alas a compromise with my wife (oh... now there's a story... not for here though) means I'm charging for them - the least I can get away with so £0.69/$0.99 on Google Play / iOS and £0.79/$0.99 on Windows Phone.

Fingers crossed it'll pass Windows Phone / iOS approval - I'll post links when/if they do.

Interested what you all think - all comments (whether good or bad) welcome :D

Cheers

Dan Gray

Nice work. Do you by any chance have all the audio files for download to a PC? You can use Mediafire or Skydrive as hosting service for the files if you want to :)

Thanks in advance

Like your thinking Radiant - I'll try and get that up somewhere this week, I've got some Azure storage which should do the job.

The Windows Phone 7 & 8 versions got approved by Microsoft - and are now in the Windows Phone Store

Alas Apple have decided that I can't use the term "Mech" as it's a well known third party mark - not sure what I could replace it with - "Dirty Great Hulking Combat Mechanoid In My Pocket" doesn't roll off the tongue - so, sorry iOS users, won't be coming to you anytime soon.

You could always say "Battlemech" or "Mechwarrior"
