Currently chain fire only works with heavier slower weapons but not for smaller ones.
and thats a problem because chain fire, as a feature, should do what its name implies for every weapon regardless of refire rate.

Proposed feature to give chainfire several modes of different cycle speeds.

Off -> speed1 ->speed2 -> speed3 -> etc

(Arbitrary numbers to illustrate point)
Off ->Cycle at 0.5s -> Cycle at 0.25 -> Cycle at 0.12 ->etc -> off

This is already possible externally, you just need a programmable joystick, keypad, or mouse that allows you to set the repeat interval. As fast as you pull the trigger, chainfire will fire the next weapon.

though not everybody has asccess to those systems. and having to buy these peripherals just to be competitive is ludicrous, especailly since it would be relatively easy to program into the game.
