Hi all,

I am a pretty average pilot but today I managed to pull off an incredible fightback with my Hunchback. Three left on the enemy team and me as the last one alive on my team, I defended against an enemy cap and killed a Firebrand, Cicada and a Blackjack (respectively). I ended up with no arms and I left my Left Leg lying somewhere around my base on the Tourmaline Desert. The context of this battle is why I have called it the Impossible Win.

Since my Print Screen button doesn't work properly, I have no way of proving to my guild/unit that I managed to achieve such a feat, and was hoping that anyone watching the game would be able to vouch for me upon seeing this.

I also asked a question at the start of the match to all players whether Blackjacks had arm actuators.

If anyone's memory is a bit hazy, let me jog your memory a bit more. My Hunchback 4G had an AC/10, Machine Gun and a Medium Pulse Laser. It has Camo Black as the Primary and Secondary colour, and Camo Grey as the Tertiary colour.

If anyone in the game would be able to vouch for me, I would truly appreciate it

Oh and the guy who was in a Blackjack on my team has two lowercase x's at the start and end of his name

If you take all those terrible guns off your 'mech, I think you'll find this is a semi-regular occurrence.

It's impressive you even damaged anything with an AC/10, MPL and MG.

I don't think that was the sort of response he had in mind, Vic.

I understand that it is not the best loadout, and I did have a better one before I switched to this. However, firepower isn't all that matters in this game. It has Ferro Fibrous Armour and an Endo Steel Structure so as you can imagine, it doesn't leave a lot of slots to work with.

I welcome discussion ArchMage, even if it is a little off-topic :)

I had a similar game in my Jenner K, I had red torso, no rear armor orange internals and I single handedly killed a slightly damaged Misery, and two Jagers, both boating enough firepower in ac/5s and ac/2s to core an atlas in a single volley! It was an intense fight, but I finally won the game by killing every single one!

i remember almost winning a game with a single head mounted medium laser by bringing a stalker to red

Anyway you could try running fraps while your ingame but never actually recording anything just using it to take screenshots

Just curious but you had 3 machine guns and more than one medium? (Just confusing the way you worded it but personally that build isn't that bad )

Nope it was just one of each - 1 AC/10, 1 Medium Pulse Laser and 1 Machine Gun.

MSI afterburner is less resource heavy and than fraps.

How in the butt did you actually damage anything? I've had an AC/10 centurion once, and it's nice as long as you only shoot half-dead mechs with no weapons...

Dont underestimate ac10 it deals quite alot of damage over time for cheap heat but it requires good piloting since you'll be in the line of fire guaranteed. True brawler weapon.

True, I use the AC/10 as a primary weapon and use the MGun and MPLas to get those critical hits. It's a close combat mech but the only way a Hunchback is going to be effective is to give it some speed

Only time I've had success in a Hunch is to load it with a AC/20 and wait until everyone is fighting and run around backblasting mofos..

You can also use Game Booster Beta 3.5 to take videos and screenshot. has since been taken over by Razer, but I do not know what they did with it. The Iobit version has an ad in it which pops up every 5 games or so, if you can live with that. Bonus point is it is free to use
