Rather than forcing me to hover my hand over "O" at the worst possible moments.

For example, if I am shut down in the middle of the enemy forces< I want to be able to hit O once while I am shut down and then go out in a blaze of glory, rather than having to hover my hand over O, tap it, confirm that I didn't hit it too early, and THEN begin shooting until I die.

Of course, that sort of thing wouldn't ever happen if hitting O was a more permanent (or at least, longer lasting) affair to begin with :D.

It's not a big deal, but it would be nice, IMHO.

If serious, then as a toggle?

Well, as a toggle it might work.

As a permanent either / or toggle option; a toggle might work best with what we have ATM for the situation you mention,
locking out the mech's systems similar to something like this device: http://www2.emersonp...l_override.aspx, which could easily be more or less sophisticated for the MWO timeline.

Also I'd like to be able to hit P to stay "asleep" after I've shut down automatically.
