This is a thread in the archive about the unofficial teamspeak servers. Most factions/units have their own servers but the ones in this thread are a good place to start!

Team speak is the most common by far.

Good responses above, more generic response is Teamspeak, Ventrillo, Mumble, etc., check forum headers, there should be no shortage of good suggestions.

Welcome aboard and have fun.

While I've long been a fan of this universe and the games, I'm at a loss as to how to actually use teamspeak. I've downloaded it and it's good to go, but I have no idea how to navigate it. Is there anyone who would be willing to guide me through it?

The official program for MWO is C3. Supposedly they are the ones responsible for handling integrated VOIP. As of the last time I checked if you have C3 active and join a group then you will all be put in the same channel. It does not work for PUG games and most never bother because you still need TS or Vent or the like to actually find a group.

Check out Syllogy's link above, in general there will be an IP to set and a password to get you to the right server. If that doesn't work, I suggest checking out the No Guts No Galaxy website as a start.

Good luck!
