More polls like the SRM one!

For example:

(x)Do you want to change PPCs to...

... chain damage (50% is transphered to nearby component)
... add heat
... change nothing

SIMPLE AS THAT!

Good for the community -> We get what we want.

Godd for PGI -> Can blame the community.

Greetings

Polls are not very reliable means of doing things, but it is still better than what we have. PGI doesn't seem to play their own game.

True, I would never suggest such a thing, but the situation would benefit from it I think.

I'm really loving how the 3PV poll was rejected because only a fraction of the players use the forums and bothered to vote but the return of the Splatcat poll is totally acceptable.

Yeah the bull*** factor was high on that one and the SRM poll proved it.

Polls don't always work because the majority of the players do not visit the forums.

What does work? Numbers. PGI however has a spectacular fear of numbers, and not only refuses to let us see them, but at times it appears they are even too scared to use them.

It might have something to thing called math. There are rumors that calculators are OP to PGI.

I could be on an island though.

It was rejected because businesses like to expand their potential market. Pretty unheard of, I know.

The hardcore/competitive community is already in consensus about what's wrong and how to fix it. But PGI has not, is not, and will NEVER listen to them, because they're apparently just forum whiners who have no bearing on the majority of the playerbase.

Just add another layer of complexity, punch in some psuedo-random numbers, sell more hero mechs, and it's all good. :)

...isn't it? :)

Why does everyone put the spin on this as if it was the deciding factor in the buff. It was posed as "it will get buffed but if we do it now it op to some chassis because of bugs, do you still want it now?"..............

Yes. It might result in some suboptimal changes.. but it can't that much worse can it? And a nice side effect for PGI: They are not the ones to blame :)

But don't make the polls on the forums, make them ingame and mandatory.. this is supposed to be a beta after all, so ask your testers :D

This is provided we don't get "Yes/No" or "X/Y/Z"-polls, but with actual articulation and argument behind the options. And alternatives.

.. I'm pretty sure that's why they did the SRM poll to begin with; to gauge community response to direct input.
