I'm having a problem with my headset, and would appreciate some help with it. I have a Logitech Premium USB 350 headset, and it's just flat out not working. Neither the mic nor the earpieces pick-up/transmit any sound. I've tried fixing it in the Control Panel, but that doesn't work. My computer can SEE the headset, but doesn't want to transmit/pick-up any sound. The headset itself is in perfect working order, other than no sound.

Computer specs: Intel Core2 Quad processor running Win7 x64. I have the latest drivers for my audio card, which is also rather new, but not untested. Multiple USB ports, and none of them have worked thus far.

I really like these headsets, and don't really want to go spend my MWO money just to replace them, and will only do so if that's the only thing left to do. I've already contacted logitech support on this problem, but as yet, no answer to my email. Hence, I'm stretching out to the community for help. Does anyone know what's going on? BTW, it is NOT on mute and it is plugged in. I'm not a total computer clutz!

Edit: If anyone knows what's maybe going on, feel free to PM me your ideas. Thanx.

I've pressed it multiple times, and nothing works.

Have you tried using a different USB peripheral device in your slot to ensure that it is working correctly? The usb slot that is..

That thing looks very fragile, have you dropped it or pulled the cord at any time. You may have damaged it by accident. I had a different logitech headset that had happened to. I accidentally pulled part of the cable out from the earpiece, thus ruining it. it was under my rolly death to headsets chair.....

"The headset is in perfect working order, except for no sound"

um thats the exact opposite of perfect working order. odds are its broken wireing if youve updated drivers and made sure mute isnt on.

Have you selected them as the output device?

By default your PC is going to send audio to the headphone jack.

Win 7 or XP?

If win 7, controll panel -> hardware and sound -> sound

Select the logitech headphones from the list in the playback tab, right click, set as default sound device.

Done all of that already, yes... still no sound. Getting rather frustrated with these headsets! BTW, yes, I use win 7 x64bit.

Having a similar problem with the Logitech H330 USB Headset.

Works fine for Teamspeak, but gives no game sounds at all.

Also using Windows 7 64.

Abandon USB headsets and just use the tried and true blue and green mini-plugs. I never have a problem with mine and, it frees up a USB plug.

I use a Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme gamer PCI discrete sound card. I connect directly to the card in the back (or in the front through the 5.25 bay component paired with the card) of my confuser.
