I just wanted to ask a quick question about the SRM6 penalty in particular.

Usually on my AWS-8R I Alpha 4xSRM6. Doing this I will now get a penalty because the Max Alpha is 3.

If I ammend my build so that its 3xSRM6+1XSRM4- will the penalty be avoided when I Alpha?

Thanks in advance!

3SRM6+ 1SRM4 = no penalty :)

I will move this to New Player Help just to make sure anyone else with the same questions can get it answered.

Keep in mind this could change

you may be better off in the long run learning to fire them in a 2+2 pattern with at least half a second between volleys to avoid incurring a heat penalty.

yes.

also you could just fire your srm 2 and then 2 .5 seconds later to avoid the penalty.
