Testing Grounds: Can we "test drive" base mechs/variants we don't own?

Mechlab: Can we "test outfit" variants before buying said variants? Not everyone knows about smurfy or mechromancer. Your game, you should bring the tools! Do you really want to rely on 3rd parties for this kind of feature? It can be a huge incentive to, perhaps, buy hero mechs!

Bonus points: Can we combine the above??? :)

Mechlab usage/heat issues: Can we have an option to turn of 3D models in mechlab to address concerns of some users reporting high temperatures before even launching the game? They could be replaced by static images, or even an animated gif if you want to retain some movement. This also may not be caused by the 3D rendering; in that case it should be reported to whoever squashes mechlab bugs.

Side note: people would buy colors and camos more if they were cheaper. $6 for basically one color seems a bit steep.

Thanks
