I think that we should be able to group launch into the Training Grounds, with the option of all versus the target dummys, or moving, non-firing targets, as well as splitting up into two teams for training. This would (hopefully) improve teamwork building abilities, such as Sniper/LRM and Spotter/Guard teams, as well as formation movements/attacks. Naturally, the only thing your earn in the Training Grounds, is what you learn.

I voted for all choices, because I could. Might want to check the way the poll is set up.

I clicked yes, but max group size should be 2.
Brainstorming:
There shouldn't be any bonuses or rewards if you can kill your ally, Friendly fire should maybe be turned off. Or you just can't kill anything except dummy targets.
I think training grounds is mostly for testing your mech out, like heat, ammo, rate of fire, speed of your mech, and so on. It's not ment to drop with a group of people to run around in and kill each other because training grounds or not, it would turn into a real game where someone has to "win".
Conclusion:
2 people max to drop into the training grounds. Reason for that is to teach new people how to walk, so they can follow you, and use you as moving target practice. If you're on coms, you can give them instructions and see how they act. You know, like a trainer in the training grounds.
But once we get a working in-game tutorial a group training grounds probably won't be nessicary.

This will be a function of private matchmaking. It's already in the works.
