Alpine - objects have snow white textures, sometimes low frequency flickering with the original textures when moving...

Frozen City - objects appear dark grey with flickering textures like above...

I've had this issue for quite some time now. I have deleted the shaders folder and it did nothing. I'm not certain if I'm running with vsync right now or not, but really that shouldn't be an issue or a fix considering what vsync does. Vsync just keeps the framerate from exceeding the maximum refresh of the monitor to prevent tearing. This is not a tearing issue at all, it's a texture issue.

VSYNC? Well, i am not sure right now if i have it on or not... i guess it's off, cause well: FPS and everything.
I will give it a try though.

Unfortunately the "fix" didn't work for me. Deleted the shader cache for kicks, no change.

It's not just on Frozen City Night. I have it on other maps as well. Mostly Forest Colony (& FC Snow) and Alpine peaks as well as Frozen City and FC Night. Here's some Screens as proof:

So far I have done these in an attempt to fix this issue:

Reinstalled the game
Run the MWO repair tool
Update and reinstall graphics drivers

This issues comes and goes. It's usually worse after a patch. This seriously has to get fixed before launch. This issue has existed since closed beta!

Deleted the Shaders folder as suggested and tried a training run in Frozen City Night and now everything works fine.

i also have this issue. i have deleted shaders, vsync on or off (although if that was a fix there is some very deep issues in the programming dept), different resolutions, settings etc, etc, etc. this is listed in the known issues section and i have submitted a ticket which was closed some time ago since they know about it.
but. since the patch was supposed to fix "texture issues" i suppose they should know that this texture issue still exists. but hey, srms cause 2 damage per missile now..... kinda like they did a couple of months ago.
woot.

I've been having issues with losing my building textures on Frozen City Night. I've just only run the MWO Repair Tool. I doesn't find any problems, and I'm still missing textures.

It used to only do this for the first time I played Frozen City, then it would be corrected in subsequent games. However, it's happening every time now.

running the repair tool fixed issue for me. I didn't experience the issue at all until I switched to fullscreen view though, normally I was playing in 1600x900 windowed mode.

people still experiencing it might want to try swapping resolution or from FS <-> windowed and see if you still get the issue? might help narrow it down.

I've been experiencing it on both the Frozen cities, it gets worse if you load the level while being alt-tabbed, but often I don't and yet the textures on buildings/ice are missing.

I've never experienced it in any other map (never on forest) besides a few times on Alpine like 1, 1 and half month ago, but on Alpine I've seen that the issue was 100% caused by being alt-tabbed during the level loading up. Later on even if I'm alt tabbed I don't get the issue. Vsync off also for me, I prefer the Adaptative of my GTX 660.

But yes, it's extremely annoying and still present from CB.
