We need more weapons, I´d like having them in the game.

They come with the clans as they are clan tech.

I fear ERMLAS. You get the almost equivalent of an inner sphere large laser for 1t. Imagine Edmiester with 6 of these in his ******* Jenner.

Once the clans drop, the inner sphere needs to reveal its super top secret project cryptically code named "holy crap we need to double armour again".

If clanwar is going to be 12vs8 of 12vs6 fights i guess it's gonna be okay.

lol, people whine about ac/40's because of the pinpoint damage and quick deaths, What do you think people will say when there is an entire team of that but with far greater range.

Lasers dependence their damage over a 1 second duration and it is hard to keep them on one section on a moving, twisting mech for that long. ER lasers aren't going to be much different. And while ER lasers have greater range, they also generate greater amounts of heat.

Most people don't take ERLLs because they have so much more heat, so this is a very viable drawback.

yes but something needs to be done to make pulse, standard, and ER lasers into more unique weapons that fill different roles. right now they are mostly the same and only vary slightly with range, damage, and heat.
