First of all, I invite anyone to click on my profile and find posts like the one I'm about to make. I say that so people know I'm not one more guy threatening to drop from this game on every change they bring. But this one is really bugging me out.

Problem: the new founders Mechs are customizable alright, only not. You have basically one visible color, which covers about 40% of the Mech. The other two colors are so completely hidden that only the guy painting it in Mechlab will ever be able to notice them.The rest of the Mech is just covered in grey. You can't even spot the geometry anymore.

And please guys, don't even get me started on "you asked for it". That's not what anyone asked. What we wanted is to be able to change the colors on the existing Founders pattern, we didn't ask to have them covered in grey crap first. The original colors are gone, even for those that never ever wanted to change them in the first place. Saying we asked this is like saying your son asked for a plastic miniature car on his 18th birthday (you wanted a car didn't you?).

The only mental image I can get from this goes like:

(PGI decision makers meeting): [guy 1]: oh crap, now this guys want to paint their founders, we have to do something, they gave us 5 million bucks.
[guy 2]: Yeah Yeah...but the 5 million is already in the pocket. We need to keep selling stuff, and founders Mechs are no sell-able anymore. So...
[guy 1]: Know what? We have this new internships candidates here, lets hire one real cheap and let him do it. Just to make it seem like we care.

(a few weeks later): [clueless intern]: this is really hard man! The original skin on these Mechs was not separated into colors. I have to redo everything. Can't get it right.
[his boss]: Just get it done. We need you in weapons balancing. Start from scrap with a grayish skin covering everything and then slap a little color here and there, close to where the original colors were. Don't worry about getting it to look like the one we had first. That one did its job already! We will call this a weathered look. lolololol
[intern]: *less enthusiastic laughter*
