Is it worthwhile? I haven't put forth the money or effort to test this myself, but I've been getting a mixed bag from pilots when it comes to this preference.
Waste of tonnage or LBX-like SRM shotgun? You decide!!!

I'd vote for mostly waste of tonnage/slots, since you have 2x4 tubes in that arm, which would mean 2xsrm4 would be the best choice for all missiles being fired at once. And srm4 don't spread as much as the srm6, so artemis will make a smaller difference but still add a ton and a crit slot per srm4. Not worth it IMO.

Definitely a waste. The fact that your missile launchers are comprised of a single set of four tubes means that no matter what size launcher you put in there, whether SRM-4, SRM-6, or LRM-20, it will ALWAYS launch only four missiles in a single salvo, then keep firing successive groups of four until all missiles in the launcher size are released. As such, the missile spread will always be as tight as an SRM-4's, or a hypothetical "LRM-4." Artemis won't really do anything for either of those.

I run mine with 2x SRM6 +Arty and 2x LPL and a big ol' standard engine. SRMs come out in 2 quick tight bursts, it is in fact noticable. I say give it a shot

I have 2 SRM 6's with arti... I have no complaints... Usually I'm coring larger mechs with this build so additional tub duration deosn't bother me.
