I hadn't planned on going with an assault mech. I do like the bigger mechs but I think this game will be more about maneuverability, so I was thinking of a medium maybe. Of course I like the Omni mechs better just because they are more appealing to me aesthetically. So we will see.
I hate to bring up WoW but when I used to play that game queing for random dungeons took for ever. This is more what I was concerned about, and yes I do realize this game will be nothing like WoW. Thank GOD.
Actually it is a good point. There are 3 roles (basically) in that game, and 3 in this
Not exact role crossover obviously.
We will probably need more commanders. (just speculating)
In MWO it sounds like a person can mix it up a bit.
Depending on how many available module slots mech has anyway....Hopefully it won't be WoW random dungeon queue time since everyone will be in queue who aren't already in a match, in mechlab or offline(they won't be questing/crafting/raiding other misc stuff)
I guess it depends on, can a match be formed where no one can do the commander or scout role at all. (as in all the pilot points and modules are attack/defend)
Also depends on if it will put 4 people in a lance where all they have is assaults in their mechlab.
If it can put 4 assault in the same lance, and there is a drop limit, do they have to have some leave since all they own is assaults?
^ I guess we will see how smart the match making server is. If it can match people of appropiate tonnage/role
