Spiders and Centurions are near invincible...
Combine this with random HSR and voilá ... cheese is served

And on top of it all, there also the issue that hits are registered on the wrong side of the mech. Like getting a Gauss from 12 o'clock to the CT and it hit the back CT. I'm serious here...

Noticed that as well over a lot of games... SRMs hits on Centurions will almost never be registered.

it is very sad that hit detection is still in shambles especially when your having very tough 8 man battles againts rival clans, better go roll my d6 and see if I score a hit register this time....

Just wanted to add my agreement here. Glad pgi has acknowledged the problem and hope they can find and fix it quickly but random problems are hardest. Until then the zombie-cent and spider-atlas will continue to frustrate mechwarriors, old and new.

Something that bears noting is that while this issue is most prevalent on the cent and spider, it does occur at random times with other mechs, so while buggy hit boxes on cent and spider may be part of the issue, there is something else going on as well.

why would they care, they have your money.Seems to me that PGI are nothing but greedy crooks that dont care at all if they do things right or not. Didnt you hear, they trying to turn it into a CALL OF DUTY type game to bring in more COD players, Hit detection is last on their list

My 2¢… random hit detection detracts heavily from a potentially great game and I really hope they (PGI) fixes it soon. I'd really rather have this fixed before CW and release. Also, I've found that aiming for the spiders legs is pretty much the only place where the hit boxes seem to work more consistently.
