To paraphrase the FAQ sheet: "The early bird 30 days will be distributed with the next patch." So estimate between the 2nd and the 5th of July.

I wouldn't assume so, the early bird is available until July 25th, I would guess it'll be the first patch after the offer ends.

Assuming you bought it now or already.

Quote

Q: Will the 'early bird' benefit of 30 Days Premium Time also be awarded also on Oct 15th?
A: No, the 30 Days Premium Time from the early bird special will be awarded on our next regularly scheduled weekly maintenance period after you place your order, and will be available for you to use immediately after it is applied to your account.

So if you bought it after that, you'd have to wait for the mid-month patch.

Bought it after that but before the 25th, you'd have to wait for the August patch.

Not instant delivery, it will be added the next time they bring the servers offline.

There have been no patches or maintenance since the 25th. IF we get a Friday maintenance period then you should get it then, if not, we'll certainly have a patch period next Tuesday.

My apologies, I must have glossed over that in the FAQ.

Redshift has a point, it'd also likely apply on maintenance patches when they bring out sales.

So...

I just activated my founder's premium time and got 122 days out of it. That makes sense for a Legendary (120 days) + 2 days of random promotions. What I am missing is the early bid premium time for the Project Phoenix package I bought (30 days).

They said it would be in "on our next regularly scheduled weekly maintenance period after you place your order". Since 2-3 weeks have come and gone since I bought it... it should be there already. Does anyone know if it is already credited or not? Does anyone receive theirs?

My question is the overlord package with 120 Prem Days, is it worth it?

or am I better off buying $80 worth of MC and then converting it into Premium time and Hero mechs?

First off... don't...get... MC.

MC won't pay for the package.

--------------

That said: consider the cost of the Dragon Slayer. The BattleMaster is 5 tons more with the same hero bonus. So the price in MC would be slightly more for the BattleMaster. Then the price of the Firebrand. Thunderbolt as a hero mech will be the same price MC wise. Same tonnage. Then there's the other two hero-ish^1 mechs.

^1 You can call them heroes because they have 30% bonus + the loyalty point bonus (don't think that'll matter until CW and basically it's cheaper weapon variants from manufacturers on friendly terms with your faction and more leeway within the factions -- not sure how it'd work in merc corps.) But otherwise they could be bought without the unique appearances akin to the Founder's mechs. For example the Battlemaster might have smooth shoulders for "standard" variants and the Phoenix people would get the 'ridges'.

So you get...
  • 4 Founder's style mechs with "hero " and loyalty point bonus. They come with a special pattern and colors. (Don't know if you can use this pattern on the others or not).
  • 8 standard variants (so all the mechs you need to elite/master them).
  • 12 mechbays to put them in.
  • Your choice of 4 Dangling things to hang in your cockpit, which also give said bonuses.
  • 90 days premium, 30 more if you order by the 25th.
  • Badge tag in game and in form, forum title (like the Legendary Founder one).
Considering just the Battlemaster and Thunderbolt weighted mechs as heroes would cost you around 50 dollars, it's hard to argue with the package. There's also the fact that if you don't get the package, you'd have to wait as late as December to get the Battlemaster. (PGI's doubled its mech building staff but only releasing one at a time still -- this tells me they're working on quite a bit in terms of mechs. Possibly early clan mechs? Not that they'll be released any time soon.)

Do both. But, The $80 from the pheonix package is worth a lot more in value than the $80 in for straight premium time and hero mechs. You would almost be spending $80 on for the 120 days premium time that the overlord package gives you. And not to mention that hero mech's can range from $10-30. Keep in mind that you still have to buy mech bays too, yet!

For $80 Pheonix package, you're basically getting 4 hero mechs (with loyalty bonus), 8 other regular mechs, 120 days premium time, mech bays to boot. It's the better deal than just buying $80 worth of , by far.

Yes, you should have received your 30 days early bird time already. The remaining 90 days, and all other package contents will be delivered in October.
Your best bet at this point is to just explain your situation in an e-mail and send it to support@mwomercs.com

They'll get back to you within a couple days with an answer, or correct the issue. Hope that helps! GL.

There's been cost break-downs where the overall worth is closer to $200 dollars, assuming $20-30 a Pheonix skin mech, then the premium time, and cockpit items... then there's the 8 standard variants you also get. The cost of the package is good, however it won't be out until the month after launch.

And word of warning, the game will most likely not be much different to what we already have at present, only difference is we have 2 unknown mechs coming (assuming MASC isn't working and flea is knocked off another month), and possible 12v12 in.

Maybe. Pure speculation here.
