Junkman, Bagheera, Kazma - all excellent comments and I appreciate the information. I have been pugging and I likely need to change my strategy and approach. I also wouldn't doubt that I have had a bit of bad luck! While I have played a lot of hours I am certainly not an advanced player of MWO...there is a lot to learn about this version of the game. Yeah, LRMs are in the best state they've been for a while - only thing I don't like about 'em is the flight path looks a little too... "artificial"?
They don't seem to arc or curve in flight, but take three distinct straight line paths - though this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things!
Also: Dodge, duck, dip, dive and... dodge
