Greetings House(S?) Liao

As such, I've meant to go through each of the Successor States, chronicling my journey along the way so that newer players might have a reference on who they might like to swear allegiance to, if any! So I'm creating these threads in each of the Great Houses subforums, in the hopes that each of you fine people might reach out, and help me with some basic parts of my travels, starting with some individuals who might be interested in volunteering to mentor me inside of their respective militaries, so that I might find some place to start with fighting alongside you! I'm hoping to allow two days of drops with each House, for a couple hours each day hopefully! Because I'm doing all the Houses, I'll ask for a little patience at first while I try to coordinate which days each House might be toured!
I'm also looking for any suggestions at all from the newer players of the Houses, and want to ask you what made you decide to stay and fight for your House!
Thanks in advance for any help you might be, and I look forward to playing with all of you!
ASIDE: I'm interested in playing with BOTH of the House Liao groups, both the majestic space birds, AND what seems to be the BT group representing Liao!

I think for myself and for several people I play with.... we are fans of the earlier games and some played TT. The idea that everyone can better themselves in the Conferation and House Liao is certainly an attractive aspect for me. I'm not a believer/supporter of socialism in real life, but the model for Liao in the game seems to fit the lore and the culture of the MW universe pretty well.
That said, I'm going where my unit goes. The core group of players I play with are all really good folk and playing with them and having an enjoyable gaming experience trumps all else as far as RL goes.
Thanks for stopping by.... see you out there!

Welcome to the most terrible house forum in this fictional universe of giant stompy robots on the internet. This particular forum is a wasteland of badposts and their horrible owners: actual people on the internet. Your best bet is to look at the two stickied posts and log on to Mumble/TeamSpeak to find folks to shoot robots with, as this particular post is doomed.
If you log on to our mumble, feel free to jump in with any of the chill mechbro 4-mans online at the time. If someone who is a magnet for responsibility happens to be online, I'm sure you'll get the mentoring you crave. Also, robot drinking games.

Actually I already have your guys' Mumble server added, so depending on what schedule I work out playing with all the Houses I'll pop in and say hullo. Any suggestion on who I might play with? Hopefully with a minimum of cloaca jokes, but if it gets that far I'll be grateful haha.

You should be pretty safe with just about everyone, especially anyone named Ohsh. It would be best for you to ask anyone online at the time who you should drop with, as depending on your schedule, you could have a very eclectic cast of characters. We're generally pretty helpful as a whole, though.

Okay haha, it'll probably be this evening, for now this is a testbed for gathering thoughts on what should be in the Great House Reports, as well as gauge interest. Heck, if enough people like it I MIGHT stoop to doing it with the Clans as well, haha.

Nobody can add more to this. You may think you can, but you'd be wrong.
Besides which, how is any new player going to be able to navigate the delicate political situation that is "Who is House Liao?" So I plan on playing with both the Goons and the BT crowd, in the hopes that I can generate interest in both. Who knows, maybe there's new players out there that might have a little "squawk" in them.

Two things:
1- There's really no "delicate" situation here. Everyone knows the actual is truth. (we're better at RP but just terrible at robots)
2- Recruiting is a process all it's own. Unfortunately, I'm not one to elaborate on such things.
PS- Slosh Ops.
