[Luthander]

Found a Home Thanks to all who replied.


My ingame name is Luthander, I'm looking for a guild/team who likes to put together lance's for competitive play, is active, and uses voice comms for in and out of game communications.

My Needs:

• a guild/team with ambition to push thier skill level and knowledge of the game in a competitive way, but is not affraid to take time off and have fun to research different tactics and set ups and just hack around every once in a while.

• Since I'm new to the game I also need people who are willing to give me time to learn more and grow to a high level of competitive game play if they're already at high level of game play or to grow together as a team/guild.

My Strong Points:

• willingness to strive to be as best a player I can be.
  
• I am very competitive and in every game I have played I have at very least reached an above average game play.
  
• I love competitive team play and view game play as a competitive sport as a key element to making the game also very fun and challenging.

My weak Points:

• im at a fragile state economically and I'm at the point of changing jobs so the times i play now may not be the exact times I will be able to play. For the most part though, I play at nights est and weekends.
  
• I have played the table top version of this game but I have only played mwo for about 3 to 4 weeks.

I am in my forties right now but have been a game addict since pong and have played fps, mmos, and a variety of other genres since video arcades and the vic 20 have been out.

I'm slightly confused. Are you looking for a battletech clan... clan? Or a merc unit/house unit? This section is for the battletech clan discussion, speculation, etc. Like discussing the Timberwolf and the pure perfection it delivers, or how Clan Jade Falcon is always whining. That type of thing.

Though there are binaries/trinaries already recruiting for when the Clans drop, and a lot of them usually lance together.

The Devs have said that independant play of the Clans is not be an option(you'll get thrown in a bit 'mixing pot' of Clan players and drop against the same from the IS units). To take and hold objectives as a dedicated team it appears that folks will have to create 'merc corps'(in name only) to opperate is proxy clans. It makes senese when yoiu think about it.

I am not sure you understand what the word Clans means in the BattleTech Universe. In BattleTech there are many Factions.

Are you looking for a Clan Faction? Then you are in the right place.

A House Unit? You can look in Factions - Inner Sphere

or a Merc Unit? You can look in Merc Corps - Outreach

I've got a 14month old and my shifts for work are all over the place and sometimes far between so I can relate.
Most of our guys play later in the evening, say around 8pm - 3am EST is probably peak time.

Hey, Luthander!

First off welcome to MWO! I am the NA Drop Commander for Antares Scorpions. We have gathered a great group of guys and are always looking for dedicated players that want to win! I am looking to build a stable group of 8, and eventually 12, players that consistently play together. We, Antares, have a lot of talent but 3 or 4 of my best players have odd hours or real life obligations. Therefore, permanent, non-rotation spots are still available.

We are active in the Last Mech Standing tournament, currently waiting to see who we face in the finals. Previously participated in RHOD, Run Hot or Die, league and Proxis Community Warfare. We have all intentions of competing in RHOD for season 2 and looking at other leagues as well.

We hold practices Monday and Wednesday 8-9 EST start and go until we dont have enough bodies to drop. Trying to get a third day that works for the majority of us, been trying Sunday, but so far the previously mentioned days have been the best. We do have our own website, ts, etc.
