[GMAK]

I'm not sure if I can see in which faction I am in the score board but when the game start I can see I'm in the faction LNW. What is that? I've use google and find nothing about that.

If you're logged in to the website, hit 'profile', then in the third navigation bar down hit 'faction'. You can select your faction from there.

When you start, you start as a Lone Wolf (LNW) like you are now, which is unaffiliated.

Factions are just placeholder until the Community Warfare update (and subsequent updates) make it matter.

LNW is "Lone Wolf" which is the default unless you change it in your profile. There's no benefit at the moment to changing other than changing the icon next to your name on the forums and in the game.

A lot of the faction system is still unimplemented at this time. However, your default faction of new players is effectively no faction at all, AKA a lone wolf.

If you wish to declare yourself as part of a faction at this time, log in to the website (if you haven't already), go to Profile (where login would be if you aren't logged in), select faction, then select the faction you want to be a part of.

But yesh. Video. Faction and/or universe storyline. Later on it'll be worth something but for now just enjoy your fantasies of space vikings, space communists, space fascists, and space everything else. Wee!

Good fun in mechwarrior fan videos though less on the faction lore and more on mechs from battletech/mechwarrior for the sake of mechs.
