I was just playing an assault match on Tourmaline Desert, when the game stuttered. It locked up temporarily for about 5 seconds, then I was able to keep playing. 5 seconds later, the game completely locked up.

I looked in Omicron.log, and saw this:

Spoiler

Usually I've had it just lock up, then I'd just Alt+F4 to close the game. But this time, Alt+F4 only stopped the sounds, but didn't close the client. I had to force it to close through the task manager.

EDIT: It appears that the server is down. I can't connect to patcher.mwomercs.com. If this is the case, I just wish MWO would disconnect gracefully instead of going into a crazy lockup.

EDIT #2: Was just able to log back in 3 minutes later. I don't understand what happened I guess.

EDIT #3: The exact same thing just happened on Forest Colony Snow, except it was a game lock up, with no stuttering.

A couple of thoughts/comments

(1) Have you tried running the repair tool?
http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/
(2) If that doesn't it fix it, have you submitted a support ticket with the Omicron log attached?
(3) In terms of the downtime, see the news re Sarah's mech, that was the reason for the downtime (and personally, would have been glad to have a d/c / lost match due to them getting this up and running.

Good luck with resolution.

I did run the repair tool a couple days ago when I was having texture issues with Frozen City Night. That seemed to fix that problem.

I just rebooted my machine, and I'll see if that fixed it. If it doesn't, I'll send support an e-mail. I know they're more likely to investigate that.

I didn't realize they were working on Sarah's 'mech today. Awesome
