Ok lets do it. I'll support it. And here's why -I- Support it:

With Premium time and my Founder's Mechs, I will totally obliterate all the Free to Play Players because of my Star League Era tech. RnR won't hurt me at all. It didn't before.

Free to Play players should man up and actually get on the ball. They are leeches that take server time and resources, they should be fodder for the rest of us until they realize that the only way to compete, is to shell out the dough to stay competitive. Otherwise they just feed the paying members the cbills and exp to continually demolish their fellows.

are you going to accuse RR of kicking puppies too?

how about we just let all the new players who are just starting face down 12 assaults and heavies while they are in their first commando that they barely know how to drive. of course some of the free to play players will be brought down a few pegs. this needs to happen so that the new players have a small chance of hurting something else on the field. right now new players get kicked around in inferior mechs and then most likely leave because "this game sucks and is unfair".

If you bring back R&R then we will need a C-bill boost to offset the losses people will have.

New players will really lose out because they will be hit hardest with it as they learn how to play.

As it is now, to me the R&R is hidden and all we see are our profits from battle.

new players learn to play in trial mechs which always had free repairs anyway or very cheap mechs which pretty much always earned money. it was only the very high end expensive mechs that ran a risk of losing money.

i do agree that pay needs to increase to balance out some of the repair costs though.

This is a tough topic. I do support bringing back in Repair and Rearm, but probably only for CW. And in doing so, it will teach people that MISTAKES and POOR DESIGN of mechs and POOR PLAYING will COST you money. People will need to bring their A game if they want to minimize their damage and maximize their rewards. But again, R&R needs to be in CW or in say a hardcore mode of 1st person play.
