I think that you can still find those cockpits in cons.

Yeah they tour the cons. I've only seen/played them at ACEN, but they're ******* awesome. Even though they're like 20+ years old and use the 10yo Mechwarrior 4 engine they're still incredibly immersive.

I love the printout you get at the end with a play-by-play of the action.

Yep. Many times. they too, like MWO, decided to not do a direct port of BT norms. If I recall, Vultures were moving at like 160 kph. I still have a players manual at home for play at these booths.

they used to have 6 pods in a tabletop game store in dallas before the place shutdown. now I think you pretty much have to catch them while they tour. http://getinthepods.com/

Had the joy of trying these a long, long time ago here in Aus (one of only 2 sites at the time) on the Gold Coast, QLD. I don't know what happened to the tesla pods they had here. :)
